Afsha Somani is a Family Nurse Practitioner serving the community of Lawrenceville, GA. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. Afsha is a Certified Diabetes Educator who is passionate about preventing and managing diabetes. Prior to relocating to Georgia, she worked at Medfirst Schertz Primary Care. She is a multilingual communicator who can converse in English, Urdu, and Hindi. Her philosophy of patient care is based on compassion, efficacy, and teamwork. She focuses on giving patients the highest quality of care while guaranteeing their participation in managing their health. In her free time, Afsha enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her mini poodle.
